Over the past 44 years of work, Christo
and Jeanne-Claude have created many large scale pieces. Their projects
have been met with many obstacles and some have taken as long as 20 years to
come to life. The end result to some is a breathtaking masterpiece,
but to others the work is "a solid waste problem"1. This
website attempts to capture both the criticisms of and artists' view point
on environmental concerns surrounding the projects.
