Christo's full name is Christo Vladimirov Javacheff and Jeanne-Claude was born Jeanne-Claude Denat de Guillebon.  They were both born on June 13, 1935.  They met in Paris in 1958 when Christo was hired to paint a portrait of Jeanne-Cluade's mother.  They have a son Cyril Christo who is 43.
